Family Pastor

Kevin Douglas | kevin.douglas@hopechurchnyc.org

Kevin’s passion and personal mission statement is: To foster an environment for people to experience and grow in Jesus. Contextualization of this personal passion has always been unique for Kevin. In 2013, God called Kevin to be a pastor and since then he has continued his personal mission through being an associate pastor at Pilgrim Congregational Church and The Director of Pastoral Care at a Sanctuary at White Lake, in his hometown of Michigan.  Kevin has a learner’s disposition and is constantly asking who God is and who are we in light of who He is. This desire led Kevin to complete a Master’s of Divinity degree from Moody Theological Seminary. Kevin has been gifted and groomed by God to lead and guide individuals and teams through the messiness of life by building relationships, deeply listening, and ministering to needs of clients wherever they are on their journey.Kevin is currently leading children and families through ministries at Hope Church.

Worship Pastor & Service Director

Jeff Johnson | jeff@hopechurchnyc.org

Almost immediately after moving to New York City in 2014, Jeff became connected with Hope Church, and after a year of commuting from Brooklyn, he is excited to now be a resident of Roosevelt Island. Before coming to NYC, Jeff was in ministry for ten years, serving as Worship Leader at Faith Church in Waterford, MI and Weekend Service Director at Emmanuel Church in Greenwood IN.  When he is not on Roosevelt Island, Jeff can usually be found teaching music to kids at Appleseeds, or searching for a pretentious coffee shop in the city that he has yet to experience.
