How did Jesus advance the gospel? His primary method was through making disciples. Because of this, we do not exist to simply build a weekend church service, but instead to create a family of disciples (students of the ways, works, and words of Jesus) on mission to develop even more disciples. This requires us to send out disciples to instigate new gospel movements in different geographies. It also demands us to help and support our brothers and sisters around the world. Here, we highlight our disciple-making efforts locally and globally.
Ministry Apprenticeship Program | In partnership with Redeemer City to City
Every year we identify Hope Church members who we believe God is working in and working through. Once identified, we take the year to invest in the character and competencies of these people through a formal partnership with Redeemer City to City and an apprenticeship program that develops and empowers them in various areas of ministry.
Pastoral Leadership Development | Pastoral & church Planting Residencies
Each year we identify a group of church leaders who have felt the call to vocational ministry. These individuals become pastors or church planters in residence where they are expected to undergo a 12 month period of learning and discernment regarding God's special call to ministry on their life. Global Church Planting | Evangel Tokyo
In September 2015, we had the privilege of partnering with Evangel Tokyo, a new evangelical church plant in Tokyo Japan. Our friends there are faithfully spreading the gospel where Christianity is a minority religion.
